Liberty, Book the Third
This section is kind of weird, first its shortest one yet and secondly the whole entire book is taught from people who want to get in contact with Octavian. Reason being, because Octavian escaped and has been hiding ever since. Octavian has been running from place to place beind shocked at every corner, until he finds himself being part of a band of Patriots, willing to fight against the Brits.
This band contains soilders getting ready to fight, and of course Octavian isnt really a fighter but in the end he befriends a Private named Evidence Goring. Octavian's code name has been changed to Prince, and finds himself as a fiddler through-out every battle. Goring thinks of Octavian as a person who has a self-fullfiling death wish to a person who could actually help. Help to fight the brits not only for liberty but to exterminate slavery.
One problem, Mr. Shapre has already been looking for Octavian for a long time.
The Pox Party, Book the Second
Octavian was sent to a college and well, by doing that he was snatched away. What Cassopeia and 03-01 are worrying about is Octavian's education and such so he is snatched as mentioned before so he goes around studying a lot, different tutors everyday. Octavian thinks that the college life was amazing but ge always thought that it got a little weird on the other hand, one example is that he realizes that Octavian's mother (Cassiopeia) and him are slaves though to the fact that he has a lot of freedom around the house.
Later on, Lord Cheldthorpe (a royal man from London) wants Cassiopeia to go with him back to London for some reason, and then Cassiopeia remembers that marrying to a royal man would befits her royal line and so she regrets the offer.
At this point of the book, it's mentioned that Octavian is an african-american.
Things are starting to get boring in Octavian's college under the teachings of Mr. Sharpe. The reason is that he is being educated in the most absolute way possible, meaning that everything is taught to him at the same time so its not only boring for him but hard, so Cassiopeia and Octavian rather become servants to the house, so he gets to work with his friend, Bono who tells him what slaves really are. This is all happening inthe house and the college where the colonies are arming up for a war against the Britain Army. This happens because at the time there was a lot of violence because of taxation of brit goods. College events mix when the Brits have taken over Boston at the time, so Mr. Gitney (03-01) recurrs to his brother, Bono gets traded and Octavian's life is starting to get even worse. When all the family and house members get to Canann, Massachusetts, Mr. Sharpe and Gitney for some odd reason decide to make a Pox Party. In the Pox Party, the guests are funders and their families to get inoculated agaisnt smallpox because its has been spreading.
The Party turns out to be really weird because some guests even consulted yo get vaccined with smallpox! As a consecuence slaves are getting weaker though to the pox spreading around and nobody recovers from it, in fact 2 men and Cassiopeia end up gravely affected. And then, Cassiopeia sadly dies from the infection. Octavian is affected gravely both emotinally and sick-wise but he is able to recover quickly.
Near the end of this Book (Book2/4) Sharpe and Gitney dissect Cassopeia... And poor Octavian has to witness her mother being dissected

03-01, Book the First
In this title by M.T Anderson, the book is divided in 4 different books where the main character, Octavian, learns to grow up as a child servant for the royalty. In the first book named The Transit of Venus we get to learn about the main character and his origins. Octavian is the son of an exiled princess named Cassopeia, the princess now lives with his son in a royal "manor" where the owner, Mr. Gitney loves to classify every one who lives in the manor by a set of two numbers. Mr. Gitney's number classification is 03-01 and is always referred to that throughout the book. The number system works with the number of the family first (03) and next to it the second number represents the position their in (01). There are various number classifications mentioned in the book like 01-01 being the King, or 01-03 is the Prince of Wales and so on, this book is set in The Enlightenment where philosophical beliefs where still making their way through the public and trying not to get caught by the Church.
In the book, Octavian always mentions this door that is painted black and has a skull and crossbones on it
"No words can tell the agitation of my spirits occasioned by merely the thought of throwing open that portal and beholding the secrets of the gloomy closet within"
What is behind the door?
